The video showed several U.S. soldiers, including members of the 507th Maintenance Company, who had been ambushed near An Nasiriyah. The captives appeared frightened but alive, identifying themselves on camera while speaking to reporters. Among those later rescued was Patrick Wayne Miller, who became one of the most well-known survivors.
