Svetlana Skumanicova on Instagram: "I’ve been using 1” fabric strips from my scrap basket to make some qayg (quilt as you go) courthouse steps blocks which I will soon turn into more coasters, yay! I start off by stitching a 2.5” square to the middle of my cotton batting and then keep adding 1” strips to form a courthouse steps design. So, so very fun!
