TV audiences will thankfully see more of Lee Raybon. FX announced today that the acclaimed neo-noir comedy-mystery The Lowdown, from Reservation Dogs creator Sterlin Harjo, has been renewed for a second season.
The remaining episodes will drop every Wednesday until the season finale on March 4, 2026. The penultimate episodes (8 and 9)will be released together on February 28. While the finale will also have two episodes that will drop on March 4, 2026.
The most intriguing of its January premieres is perhaps FX’s “The Beauty,” a body horror thriller, co-created by Ryan Murphy, set in the world of high fashion, high cheekbones and high self-esteem, thanks to a miracle beauty drug with wicked results. The cast includes Evan Peters, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos and Jeremy Pope.

Thankfully, The Beauty has something else going for it: a murder mystery led by Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall, who are both playing it so serious that it butts up against the flagrant extravagantness of the dialogue.
