The Florida Attorney General’s Office is raising concerns that the City of Winter Haven may be violating state law related to public camping and sleeping.
The attorney general of Florida and several business and anti-marijuana groups are telling the state Supreme Court to block a cannabis legalization initiative, calling it “fatally flawed” and unconstitutional as advocates work against the clock to qualify the measure for the November ballot.

The attorney general sent Winter Haven a letter saying the city is violating a state law banning public camping. He posted the letter and pictures on X.
